Writting waiting for sleep, afraid cause the insomnia will not let me.

Another night just arrive, and I am thinking if I should take my klonopin or should affront, one more night, my bed without any pill.
Wonder why is so hard to get such a normal thing like sleep. The first time I was diagnostic with insomnia was around 9 years ago, I was still at the University, by that time, of course, I was suffering from a lot of stress, But was just not only stress, it was also anxiety and panic attacks. I first knew I was needing something when I took a klonopin from my classmate, he used for “fun” but form me was the first day that before a test, I was not with that unsupportable anxiety.


I did not want to self-medicate so I asked to my mom her psychotherapist number that was back in 2009. I was on therapy till 2011, when I had a relationship over and that made things simple worst, much, much worst.


In 2012, I decided that I need it something more, I was ending my career and that anxiety was still there plus the insomnia. According to what I google, this can be a cause a major anxiety and depression. So I found a psychiatrist in my area and I started with him.
First, he put me on two prescription meds, Ambien and Prozac, then he changed the zolpidem for clonazepam, also know it as klonopin ( yes, the same medicine I got from my now college years ago ! ) .


It was a capsule for the Prozac, that I only have to take weekly ( I still take it ) and the 2mg klonopin, actually a generic of it that came with an orange bottle and the pills are not always the same, do not look the same, not even the same colour, but he told me that was perfectly normal.I also added GABA that I got it on amazon with some pills of 5-htp, plus melatonin ( yes, I know, I am doing a super combo for a natural thing ) . Since it spouse that the klonopin lower the amount of time that you pass on the REM sleep, that is where you really sleep and you repair your body, and this gaba and the other stuff Is spouse that increase the time you pass on the REM stage, I read a couple of studies on pubmed about this. It spouse that also some amino acids like glycine and taurine help to increase that stage when you are dreaming really deep.If you are having vivid dreams, is spouse that you are having a full REM sleep, and that is a great thing. With insomnia the time you pass having repairing sleep could be dramatically reduce it to the point where you are not getting any repairing sleep at all and you feel tire all the time, just waiting for the night to fall sleep, but that is when the loop start.Anyway, with this natural combo plus the klonopin pills I am manage my life, wonder how long this will last.
